Where to find your MP3

Android

Open the Files or My Files app and go to Downloads. Music apps on your phone usually pick up the new song by themselves.

iPhone

Open the Files app, tap Browse and then Downloads. Tap the song to play it, or share it to another app.

Computer

If the song plays in the new tab, click the ⋮ button on the player and choose Download. It lands in your Downloads folder, ready for your music library.

Tips for a better MP3

  • Choose the official audio or lyric video of a song for the cleanest sound.
  • YouTube Music links work too. Copy them from the Share menu.
  • A playlist link saves only the one song in the link, not the whole list.
  • If a video is blocked, look for another upload of the same song.

YouTube to MP3: common questions

Which MP3 bitrate is best for me?

Most people pick 320 kbps, the highest option. 256, 192, 128 and 64 kbps are there if you prefer them. Keep in mind that the sound can never be better than the original upload.

How long does it take to get my MP3?

Only a moment. The bitrates appear about a second after you paste the link, and your MP3 opens in a new tab as soon as you tap one, even for long videos.

Can I turn a long DJ mix into an MP3?

Yes. Mixes, live sets and whole albums all work, however long they are. MP3 files are compact, so even a mix that runs for hours stays easy to keep.

Do YouTube Music links work?

Yes. Copy the link from the Share menu in YouTube Music and paste it into tubidy, just like a normal YouTube link.

Can I save a whole playlist?

No. tubidy saves one video per link. If you paste a link from a playlist, only that one song is saved.

Why didn't my MP3 download?

Social media and chat apps often open links in a built-in browser that blocks new tabs or files. Open this page in Chrome or Safari and try again. If the song plays instead of saving, open the browser menu (⋮ or Share) and choose Download.
