Privacy Policy

Who we are

tubidy is a free web service for keeping YouTube clips as MP3 or MP4 files. Throughout this page, "we", "our" and "us" refer to tubidy. Our email address is contact@mp3juice.baby.

The link you paste

A link you paste travels to our server and on to an outside processing partner. It is used for one job only: finding that video and fetching the download options you asked for.

Pasted links, download links and download records are not stored by us. With no accounts on tubidy, there is no personal profile to keep either.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics, a service from Google, to count visits and see which pages are used. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser (such as _ga), and Google processes this data under its own privacy policy.

You can block cookies in your browser settings or install Google's opt-out browser add-on. tubidy still shows no ads, you do not need an account, and we do not keep the links you paste or the files you download. The light or dark theme you pick is remembered only inside your own browser and is never sent to us.

Hosting and security

As with any website, the companies that host and deliver tubidy may handle technical details like your IP address, browser and visit time. They need this to serve pages quickly and keep the service safe from misuse.

Preview images and your files

Preview pictures of videos load directly from YouTube's image servers, which can see your IP address. When you tap a quality, the file opens in a new tab directly from the video servers; it never passes through ours.

Messages you send us

When you contact us by email or with the form, your name, address and message are used just to reply. You will not be put on any mailing list.

Children

tubidy is not aimed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information about them.

Your rights

You may ask which details we have about you, request that they be removed, or raise any question about this policy. Since we store so little, there is normally nothing on file, but we will gladly look. Email contact@mp3juice.baby.

Updates to this policy

If tubidy changes, this policy may change with it. Check the date near the top to see when it was last revised.
